Just got back from doing another overnighter with the kids on Welham and what a fantastic trip we had, not just the fishing but the whole experience.

We got set up on the dam wall and the lads helped Kelly collect some wood and build a fire. We then had some proper fishing food (Pot Noodles, Dog Rolls, Kit Kats and White choc cookies). Had a few recasts then sat round the fire sharpening sticks with crocodile dun kelly ready for the toasting of marshmallows again provided by their new best mate.

Sorry forgot about the fishing for a bit then, in total they managed 10 fish between them with 3 of them over 15 pound.

We probably wont all get chance to fish altogether over night again this year but thanks to Gaz for the free junior fishing, and Kelly for the entertainment and advice it has been a great year for them both and myself, thankyou.

Few pics of the best fish.

Just got back this afty from a 48hr sesh, me and Neil only had one fish out each - his at around 8lb and mine at 11lb 13oz on spicy prawn boilie and strawberry & cream boilie tipped with glow in the dark corn, respectively. Others faired better, with guys on the far bank and the dam wall catching around 4 during the night, biggest at around the 18lb mark i believe.

Thoroughly enjoyed another beautiful (Autumn) weekend at Welham Lake.

Thanks once again to Gaz and Kelly cheers
