Spent yesterday and last night on Welham with Kelly, hard going but a fantastic place to be at the moment.
From 11 in the morning till half 5 i fished from just about every peg and just managed 1 fish from peg 10 then settled on the dam wall with Kel for the night.
By about 8ish kel had loads of fish feeding in front of him but clever little gits they are, we tried everything from pop ups to glueing ciggarette filters together.
In total i had 5 fish which fell mainly to white choc pop ups on zig rigs and black foam on the top.
We called it day and wound in at 11 then back up at half 4 to find the bottom end of the lake completely stirred up by the little buggers, put out a load of pellet and it was like a trout farm but for what ever we did they were too clever and for the few we got on we never got them in.
My advice to anyone doing a night is wind in get up at half 4 and feed floaters its absoluteley fantastic to watch.

one of Kelly's home made floaters
