well the lake record has gone again with this fish caught by bill hall last night at 24lb Unfortunately bill was fishing on his own so we only have a mat shot, but you can tell it is a stunning fish, the mat to the mid way point is 30'' so this fish is close to 3' in length!! congratulations bill

6 and 7 mate on white pop ups he (bill) caught 6 fish this been the second, the smallest was 13.5 i think, got some more pic which i'll put on soon i'm wondering if this is herpes,if you look near the dorsal fin there is a scale missing, with the width of the fish it wouldn;t surprise me if there was another further up,the size certainly tallies with what i thought I'm well happy that two different 20's have been out this week,i was worried that people were beginning to think i was full of s@@t

Thanks lads for your kind words, the fish was caught on a white boilie fished hard on the bottom, no fancy rig, just a hair rig with a cage feeder on a safety clip, keep it simple, the feeder mix was Dynamite Baits Betaine green mixed with a can of frenzied hemp thats all. I agree with you daveyork this time next year we could well be back slapping for the first thirty, who's it going to be!!!!! BILL

Nice to see the fish putting weight on Gaz. Bodes well for the future as more and more upper doubles and 20's begin to show.
