I am part of a partnership that has set up a company to purely provide HIP packs. We can provide a pack for about half the cost of the estate agent. I can honestly say this is the best looked after fishery I have ever visited. The pegs are built with real anglers in mind, as are the pontoons to assist in netting and fish preservation. You could easily spend an entire week here just soaking up the scenery and watching the carp basting in the sunshine. During the 24 hour session I banked six carp, the smallest of which being 10lb! Well to say I went home a happy ... But it is quite a recent discovery to me and i have only fished it the once so far.. Was just wondering which other venues you all enjoy fishing.. I think one of my favourites has to be grafton mere near york. Its a fairly easy fish and there aint no records swimming in there but its a lovely quite place out of the way. Also fish the usual suspects- willows, oaks,woodlands and a lot of locals near me. One being coppice pond in bingley. Lovely little spot. Carp ...
