As the title suggests, i'm fishing the lake for the first time this weekend - doing an overnighter with a mate on the Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it and just wondered if anyone can whet my appetite even further with some information about what's been coming out lately?

The fishing this week so far has been good,mussels (fresh from the shell) have accounted for good catches with the biggest fish going 17lb.Tiger nuts accounted for 33 fish in a session last week.something else worth trying and nobody has done it yet this year is garlic sausage - it worked really well last summer so i can't see why it shouldn't do so this year also.corn on its own or baits tipped with plastic corn always produce.
