my first time at wellham next weekend (cant wait), bin fishing horbury lagoon this year, plenty ov tench n bream but no carp!!! my m8 & i fishing 11 & 12, planning on pva bags n boillies on 1 rod & method with maize hook baits on other, how you rate my chances lads? any tips welcome cheers!

Alright pal, im no expert but kelly and gaz will sort you out. I fished peg 10 a couple of weeks back for about 5 hours with one rod out. I managed 4 out, was fishing on a spicey shrimp boilie tipped with a bit of corn, no ground bait or anything like that. I was fishing about 6 feet short of the overhanging tree on the island, u cant miss it its just by a little cove or inlet, all my fish came from there. Think alot of fish cruise round the island so anywhere by it will produce. good luck mate and enjoy.
